Privacy

What people ask before they buy counting.
How accurate is the people counting?
The 3D stereo sensors we install are specified by the manufacturer for counting accuracy of up to 99 percent. Counting lines are configured per entrance at installation, and group detection keeps a family from being counted as four buyers.
Does it record video?
No. The sensor counts on the device and sends counts to the platform. The only images it sends are background snapshots taken when nobody is in view, used to place the counting lines.
Can it tell staff from customers?
Traffic Analytics counts everyone who crosses the line. Separating staff is a Journey Analytics feature, where staff areas are marked so their movement stays out of customer metrics.
Do we need new hardware?
Traffic Analytics runs on Xovis 3D sensors. If you already have Xovis counters, we connect to them; otherwise we install one sensor per entrance.
How long until we see data?
Most deployments go live within 2 to 4 weeks, from site survey to dashboard.
Is it GDPR compliant?
Counts contain no personal data. Optional features that could, such as camera demographics or WiFi presence, are documented per site and switched on only with the customer's own data-protection assessment.
